I'm not sure how my name appeared before the end of the paper and
"if" appeared at the end, but my name should be at the end without any

Kenneth Falconer's Fractal Geometry Mathematical Foundations and
Applications, Wiley: Chichester 1990 has some very useful explana-
tions and applications of iterated compositions of functions.
