Hi,
I have the following question. In the basic probability theory two
variables are defined dependent if the following quantity is different
from 1:
P(A1 | A2) / P(A1) = P(A1 & A2) / ((P(A1) x P(A2))
Is there a name or a symbol for this quantity (like dependence
coefficient for instance) ?
Thanks
Alex
