Read a few dozen posts in sci.stat.math to get an idea of
how questions are phrased, and the sort of answers we give.
Googling the web for "conover tests" finds references to a
test on variances. Have you checked them?
Please note, sci.stat.math is not a part of the Math Forum.
It is a Usenet group, and the Math Forum provides an easy link
to it. You can read about groups, here -
