Hi,

I am not sure if this would help but I did one project using logistic
regression where I had some continuous variables also. What I did was to use
stepwise regression both ways and then analyzed each explanatory variable
wrt the response variable, basically mini modeling. So in the end you get
some sort of a justification for the stepwise regression. So basically in
the end you can compare the results of the mini modeling and the stepwise
regression and then decide what could make sense or which variables to
include in the model.
