Supplementral point (agreeing with Rich, Bruce etc.) - generally, if
the assumptions of OLS are not violated (or more realistically
violations are minor) logistic regression and OLS models will produce
very similar results. In practice this usually holds when the mean
values being analyzed are close to 0.5 (0.2-0.8 is the usuall range
quoted). I suppose that if the aim is prediction the logistic
regression model will be superior when predicting outside this range -
even if both models produce similar fits.
