I just got a laptop with XP. I don't think I've had that problem while
typing, but I do find the little touch pad mouse device is sensitive
to even having a finger hovering too close, and sometimes the cursor
will jump to a place I don't want or even open a program
unintentionally. Maybe your thumbs are sending signals via the touch
pad. Good luck.
