Good book on mathematical statistics

This subject has been raised a few times, but I think I need something
a bit different from what most people look for. I'm looking for a
comprehensive book on mathematical statistics. I have very good
mathematical background and the book should be grad. level, but being
comprehensive is more important than having rigorous proofs. I have to
get un understanding of most topics of modern mathematical statistics.
Currently I'm considering two most recommended choices :

Statistical Inference
by George Casella, Roger L. Berger

Mathematical Statistics: Basic Ideas and Selected Topics, Vol I (2nd
Edition)
by Peter J. Bickel, Kjell A. Doksum

Any suggestions ?
