A random sample X1 ,.....,Xn is drawn from a population with pdf
f(x|A)=(1/2)(1 + Ax), -1 < x < 1, -1 < A < 1.
Find a consistent estimator of A and show that it is consistent.
how do i find a consistent estimator? do i have to find a bunch of estimators and then see if one of them are consistent? like the MLE of A?
