How to do nonparametric forecasting?

I'm experimenting with nonparametric regression using Nadaraya-Watson
algorithm. I would be interested in nonparametric forecasting but I don't
have a clue how I should proceed. I'm able to get the regression data out
from the algorithm for my time-series but how can I predict the next step
for the time-series?
