Richard,
1) Yes, I am selecting 6 items per day
2) The problem is occurring randomly. It does not appear for each and
every part we ship. But only for some parts in a lot. Some lots are
good, but some are having problem eventhough they are made in same
machine under same conditions.
3) The customer inspect the parts with in seven days. So it is time
from we ship the parts till it gets inspected. It is definite that we
will get a feedback from the customer with in seven days.
My questions are
1) For how many days I have to continue the experiment?
2) If I find that all the parts for which I conducted the experiment
came out good, how confident I can be in answering the customer?
3) Is there any way to prove this statistically.
Is this information sufficient.
Thanks
Manoj
