Slight shift here, Would you ever consider a p value to be suspiciously
low? For an experiment about biological response with about 4-10
experimental replicates and 4-10 controls someone managed to get a p
value of something like 8 *10^(-6). Even with normalization I found
this somewhat a little strange especially since the experimental
replicates themselves are subjected to different conditions it might
lead to variation that would bring the pvalue higher.
