You may be surprised. While the 15-yr olds in the US ranked 27th
in its world ranking in math, they are still quite a few notches above
the Portuguese students in your country. They would be like
post-graduate students in statistics, compared to YOUR knowledge.

In the first course in statistics, no student would need a QBasic
program to simulate every little table entry that has the exact
value for look up, or found by their use of computers. Or have
to use your silly simulations to learn the exact theory.
