Now comes Richard Ulrich, the resident guru on all matters in
statistics:

the only disclaimer Richard Ulrich missed is the line that used
to be used by Ross C whenever he was talking through his hat:
Ross-C> Repeat disclaimer: I'm no expert statistician but that
rarely shuts me up.
Now that Ross-C is no longer participating in this group, I
suppose Richard Ulrich felt someone should fill Ross's shoes.

- And that is how Reef Fish Bob Ling says,
What kind of kook are you, Richard Ulrich, in this group?
I quote RU, and Ross C, verbatim in what Ulrich cited above.
to make my point.
Richard Ulrich, made up something in quotation, with no
attribution, but presumably said by me, according to Ulrich,
in his misguided obfuscation,
"Thanks for giving me a good, informative, straight
and sufficient answer, even though I asked about the
coefficient of variation in a somewhat snooty and
sneering way that must repel Replies."
To that, I could have replied, "That's very gracious,
and you are welcome."
So, now Richard Ulrich is talking to himself, while casting
his ad hominem attack about Bob Ling, the persona of
the only person posting in this thread , in this group,
Reef Fish Bob!
Richard Ulrich, do you have something worthwhile to say,
either on the subject of "coefficient of variation" or on my
quote of your own qualification you gave youself, for your
not-so-expert opinion on the subject?
