large data regressions

Can someone please direct me to software that can implement basic
regression type statistical analyses for data sets that are larger than
the memory available on one's machine? For example, I would like to
do a least squares regression and get standard errors and other
diagnostics on apx 10gb of data while I have a machine with only (?)
8gb of ram.
While I could do this by writing recursive algorithms in a fast
programming language [in something like Matlab it would take too long]
this is more than a little inconvenient, especially if I have to
implement a recursive formulation for all diagnostics of interest.
