My response
And I´m right:
Population variance:
a population parameter that which value measures how much the Population values are dispersed.
You got that much right. Perhaps that's why some say you are a HALF
WIT.
I suppose you NEVER heard of testing anything about a population
variance
by a SAMPLE variance?
Have you ever heard of the Student-T or a T-test? If you did, did you
ever
look at the SAMPLE variance in the test statistic to see that it has an
(N-1)
in the denominator and not the N you instead.
If you are able to THINK, then you should see your entire world of
statistics
crumble under your silly MISTAKE, which you tried to blame it on ALL
teachers of statistics in Portugal (I assume that's what you mean by
your
country).
Your MISSED the entire statistical concepts of Estimation and
Hypothesis
Testing in which the unbiased SAMPLE variance is used.
You MISSED the FACT that in standard usage, the SAMPLE standard
deviation is the square-root of that UNBIASED statistic called the
sample
variance,
What else is LEFT in the subject of statistics that you have NOT erred?
DIFFERENT THINGS as are a glove and a hand.
LOL Bob, LOL.
____licas (Luis A. Afonso)
Obviously you never wore a glove and your hands are too busy typing
nonsense to have made you not only the resident lunatic, but a
many-times-confirmed ignorant statistical lunatic.
The readership of this ng must have ALL put you in their killfile.
Did it ever occur to you that NOBODY ever said anything about you
being right on any of the subjects you posted?
