and if one does a Google web search on 'Bob Ling' there would be :
Results 1 - 10 of about 3,820,000 for Bob Ling. (0.17 seconds)
If you are poor at Google searches, or if you are willing to cheat
to make a point, you will search on < Bob Ling > and get millions.
[Google numbers are soft, lately. I only got 2,840,000.]
When I searched on < "Bob Ling" >, I got 1780.
If you are interested in Google groups, where I would expect
you to search, < Bob Ling > yields 15,400, whereas < "Bob Ling">
gives 418, and 38 of the first 40 are Reef Fish Bob.
Several of those are threads about Bob's lack of skill at Googling.
Most of the first ones have his name in the subject line -- they do
give an indication of Bob's reputation in a couple of groups.
