@m73g2000cwd.googlegroups.com:
Hi all,
I am curious if anyone had (or has a link to) some MATLAB code for
generating a random walk on a graph G with a given transition matrix P
?
I am curious, also. Did you perform a web search with your favorite search
engine using the string:
matlab "random walk" graph "transition matrix"
(Google produces 298 hits. Several of the ones in the first page looked
potentially useful.)
I am also curious why you do not follow USENET convention when you posted
identical questions to multiple groups (=multi-posting). Some people
denigrate cross-posting, but if you have already decided to post to
multiple technical groups, it is a courtesy to cross-post properly.
(The answer posted at Fri, 14 Jul 2006 00:22:35 +0000 (UTC) that is
visible on Google Groups in sci.math.num-analysis suggests that some else
has already tried the search strategy I used. Shlomo Kashani's hit was that
same as my first hit.)
