creating interaction term using difference scores in multilevel analysis

I am conducting sibling research testing the Actor-Partner
Interdependence Model (APIM) using multilevel analysis.

I have a question regarding how I would go about creating the
interaction term for my model given my use of difference scores wherein

each sibling rated each parents' behavior (Maternal & Paternal
Affection/Control) toward themselves and then rated their parents'
behavior toward their sibling. So, each sibling has a differential
treatment score for each parent for Affection and Control.

Again, my question is regarding how I would go about creating the
appropriate interaction term to include in my model once I have
centered my IV's.
