I had the chance to have a Professor that started the oral exams with one or two eliminatory questions of low or low middle level. To those that could not answer plenty satisfactory he said very politely:
________I´m satisfied. Would you have the kindness to come back to your seat?

Jack : I do not believe that if you had attended a first course on Statistics you have forgotten this point on Hypotheses Tests. Impossible.
