Thank you espryian and Reef Fish once again,

My engineer suggested the use of Proportional Hazards Model to take
into account the age differences. Or rather, using Proportional Hazards
Model to determine the BENCHMARK performance (which can be viewed as
Expected performance).

You guys heard of this approach before?
