statistics versus biostatistics

I am thinking about switching careers. Currently, I am math professor, but I am planning to go back to school for an M.S. in statistics or biostatistics. My interest is in biostatistics, but I wonder if getting a statistics degree might be more practical in terms of getting a job. Any advice? Thanks in advance.
