Joking apart
WHEN you made a critic about the meaning of the variance as was presented by the paper on discussion
____On Test of the Difference Between Two Binomial Proportions (Y. Parmet, E. Schechtman, (Sep, 5 , 205).
YOU IMPLICITLY DESAGREED (by failing to say you are against) that
_____var (pX - pY - d0) = var (pX-pY)
or that by mysterious reasons at the ratio (pX-pY- d0)/ s the denominator must involve d0 on contrary what happens with the test of two normal means:
__H0: m(X)-m(Y)-a <=0 against H1: m(X)-m(Y)-a >0
_____T = (mX-mY-a) / s.
where s = sort [var (mX-mY)].
THIS IS A SERIOUS MATTER, since elementary. Is your duty, if you intend to be considered an expert on Hypotheses Tests, to enlighten the Readers, IMMEDIATELLY.
