Im doing a study on the effect of income on cocaine use. Im using
data from the British Crime Survey. I am using about 1000
observations. My independent variables are: age, gender, ethnicity,
how many times respondent goes to nightclubs, region, employment
status, smoking behaviour, income, drug prices.
(the dependent variable is cocaine consumption)
For the region variable, respondents answer 1 if from the south east,
2 of from wales, 3 if from the midlands etc.... most of the variables
are set up this way. I know these are supposed to be dummy variables
but i have no idea how to define them in eviews.... can anyone help?
thanks!
