OPINNIONS and FACTS, SOLEMN WARNING


Statistics is a Science: Once forever OPPINIONS should be not be confused with FACTS. We, the Readers, have the job to find a way to control the persons that have not sufficient honesty and self-control to be quiet in matters they do not sufficiently grasp, the obscurantism militants and after all the unethical that are so miserable that dare to use lies in order to defend their wrong opinions against facts that they try to destroy.
I experienced (in three) years two or three of this
____Yurra, that nothing of substantial produced here but supporting Bob Ling´s (Reef Fish) nonsense,
More recently, John Smith (supporting Jack Tomsky) that had use LIES: He did not read a crucial paper I indicated that proved my results (I found an overshoot too in the Critical Values of Jarque-Bera Test on Normality) and he, criminally, stated that it was not there! THE OVERSHOOT WAS CLEARLY present in a Table I indicated. Simply J. Smith don´t believe that was a real feature of the Critical Values and want his opinion was stronger than FACTS.
How to control persons like these ones?
In a no refereed Newsgroup the only way is Readers being warning and act against such midget minded persons. If not the Sci. Stat. Math will be progressively fall in a dead site.
