Michael
I never doubt that your OP was genuine.
By the other hand Jack Tomsky was caught, without plausible reason, in cutting formulas (variance estimator of the difference of normal Population mean values)that are classical, caught in not getting he true meaning of Hypotheses test conclusions (he thinks that the Null hypotheses can be PROVED TRUE and can be REJECTED) and in a dozen errors concerning fundamental matters in Statistics.
He states that a program I made (about Jarque – Bera Test) is wrong because he thinks a priori that convergence to critical values cannot show overshoot. EVEN SO my valors are absolutely the same of Literature.
He is so sloppy in his EDUCATION that did not care that Monte Carlo is a completely truthful technique 40 years old. Furthermore he never met the fundamental theorem that assures (DKW) that empirical and theoretical Distribution Functions can be as close as we want.

I am not a homework help seeker. I would say as much if I were. I am not sure that I can prove it to you beyond you looking back over my usenet history. I am 40 years old and a science teacher. I am probably used to phrasing things in a way that sound like homework problems.
