Thanks, Aaron; I was not aware of this - I have a Coolpix 995.
Incidentally, it is IMO regrettable that Nikon have moved away from the
configuration of the 950/990/995/4500 series, which is well suited to
photomicrography. The later models all have much wider lenses which
appear to be less suited to fitting to an eyepiece.
