I've been reading about microscopy for months and am interested to buy
    a microscope.

First my interest was to buy a used Leica, Zeiss etc... but even a
used is expensive as I want a phase contrast, trinocular head etc...

    This one kept my attention.

Because as an option it can take phase contrast, ad it is infinity
corrected. I know people here will call it garbadge and trash, maybe
it's true. So I wondered and had to conclude that even if it was
cheap, with the phase contrast I will still pay about a thousand USD,
so if it end up being garbadge I would have wasted a 1000$ on it.

The only other option left to me is the LOMO multiscope. I know what
some here think of LOMO 'scopes, but with all the attachment options
it offer, I must say that it is rather attractive. I expect people
here saying that I should keep my money to buy used good 'scopes,
believe me I thought about it for some times, but even 'scopes with
all the options I want will cost more than the LOMOs.

What I want to know is, even if it seems that many here have a
critical view regarding LOMO, is it still not better than some chinese
'scopes like the one I reffered to above? It still got the lifetime
warranty and probably a money back garanty as well.

    Have anyone tried any?
