I've got an old SONY DXC 101P video camera. This camera is attached to
a trinocular Olympus BHS-microscope (using the mtv-3 c-mount adapter).
Everything is complete - except the necessary CCDC-cable connecting
the camera and the camera adaptor. This cable costs at round about 80€
(80$). Regarding the age of the camera: Is there any sense in buying
this cable?
The specifications of the camera are:
- Picture elements: 500x582
- Sensing area 2/3 inch
- Resolution: horizontal 320 lines/vertical 350 lines
I fear that these specifications would not allow acceptable results
(my specimens are living protists).
