Anyone use the Veeco Explorer STM/AFM setup?

If anyone does use this bit of kit, then I would much appreciate a copy
of the manual, the one we have does not give any information on
obtaining I/V measurements.
I think the situation is complicated by the fact that Veeco seems to
vend this setup with bits of kit from other manufacturers.
Also has anyone any experiance of introducing phase sensitive detection
to clean up an AFM/STM signal?
