This is a good question, and I am interested in the answer as well. We
generate hundreds of files per day when obtaining image stacks, and I am
curious how other core facility users deal with the data files- how to
get the names on the files to be useful, and if that can be automated.
We make our users get their own data off the workstation... or else!
But in terms of going back to the images for later analysis, how do
people use and manage file names, and directory structures?
