This is not a "vet microscope", it's a projection microscope. A vet can use
it if it suits the vet. There are several makers that come to mind, one is
Projectina or Vison Engineering and another was made by McBain Inst. in LA
for a hair care firm. What you describe could be either but the McBain unit
might be it. These are similar to profile projectors that are used in a
variety of industrial plants.

All use transmitted light that passes through an objective and then bounces
of, usually, one mirror. Then it strikes a frosted glass that allows the
user to see it. These are no longer used since tv is easier to view and can
be used for a large group of people.

To use these units you had to have a dark room. These were advertised as a
way to allow a group to see the specimen but the people had to be on line
with the microscope so usually they were only good for maybe 3 people. Like
I said, tv has replaced these tools.
