Olympus BH-2

I have on Olympus BH-2 microscope fitted with a 1.4 MegaPixel DVC
digital camera. I use the microscope for materials analysis (mostly on
metals and some polymers). I am thinking of upgrading my digital camera
to a colour one but I am not sure of the best one to get so I am after
some advice please.
One of the most important things for the new camera would be that it
has good quality square pixels so that I can measure the grains etc...
accurately, I don't know if this is a problem with most newer cameras.
The resolution is fine at 1.4 megapixels. I do use polarised light so I
think that peltier cooled is better and I would preferably like not to
have to pay for new adaptors so a standard C mount fit with a 2/3 inch
ccd would be good.
Any advice will be gratefully received. Thanks,
Andrew
