If this is a Cambridge rocking microtome, it will last and cut down to 5um
(wax and plastic embedded). If it's a cheap copy, who knows. Ask Brunel
whether this one is actually made by Cambridge. The price is very low, so I
assume it's a copy. I also think that it is unlikely that Brunel can offer a
good microtome knife for this price. Remember, mostly you always get what
you pay for. Did you consider looking for a used microtome and just purchase
a new knife?
