Hello,
The following links are to two basic books about microtomes. They may
not be specific to your particular modle by the information should be
very helpful. There is a brief reference to a rocking microtome in
the Steedman book. Most of what you need to know is about shapening
knives and preparing specimen. These subjects are covered in detail.
The booklet by American Optical "Effective Care and Use of the
Microtome" (long out of print and extremely scarce) was scaned into
Adobe pdf format and can be found at
http://www.science-info.org/micro/docs/AO-Spenser/
Also look for "Section cutting in Microscopy" by H. F. Steedman
available in the same format at the same site
http://www.science-info.org/micro/docs/Microtechnique/
Good luck.
