I can't directly comment on Brunels quality since I'm in America. I've seen
a bunch of posts praising them though. The 'scope is just about
indestructable. One of my customers, a pathologist, has had one since about
the beginning of time. It justs keeps on keeping on. There is one mistake
in the text though. The microscope has one coarse-fine knob. Turn the knob
and its in coarse focus, then reverse direction and its in fine for about a
half turn. When you are used to the focus it works well, before that its
frustrating. Make sure you want to spend that much. If you're in England
dealing with Brunel would be a good idea.
