There are a bunch of problems but the main one is that CF160 and Olympus
objectives have different screw threads. That causes a whole lot of
problems! Next you have correction problems. The real problem is it sounds
like the real issue here is using a long working distance system when you
need the numerical aperature (NA) of a short working distance system.

As some of the posters have suggested there are aproaches to this problem
readily availible. You might want to rethink the instrumentation part of
your experimental design.
