Image-Pro Plus 5: Determining area enclosed by AOI

Apologies if this topic is an old one...but has anyone out there
figured-out a way to get IPP5 to tell you the area enclosed by an area
of interest?

I'd be very appreciative if you could share your method. Thanks much.
