R, Could you do us a favor and post a link to some digital pictures? I'll
bet the instruments are the old, black bodied ones but it would help to see
them both.
One point. When there was tube length there were 3 lengths used by various
makers. Most used 160mm, E. Leitz used 170mm (actually 162mm but whose's
counting) and 210mm used by Nikon for their industrial objectives.
I gotta feeling that there might be a problem with the unit that doesn't
have any objectives.
