Re: How can I determine what objective is needed for my Bausch & Lomb.

First, thank you for your response.

In my first posting I didn't mention that the black microscope does
have only one (1) objective (5X Flat Field Bausch & Lomb) but it seems
to focus as I would expect it to so I'm thinking that this scope is
functional.

The gray microscope has three objectives that can all focus while on
that scope. But... I can take, for example, an objective (AO
Spencer 5X-N.A.- .14 - 921143) off from the gray microscope that
focuses when the stage is just about 27mm from the glass on the
objective and install it on the black microscope. Now it is necessary
to have the stage about 60mm from the lens and the eyepiece raised
about 18mm before I can get focus.

I'm not experienced with uploading to web sites but I tried sending
