There are several market research firms that have this information.
Unfortunately, the research reports can be quite expensive, about US
$2,000 - 3,000. See for example:

You can find others with a quick Google search.

Perhaps you can do a search for business trends in microscopy through a
local university or public library. I've done some pretty detailed
market research with the help of our excellent local research
librarian.
