I'm a hobbiest, and find pricing information very difficult to obtain
also. Here's something that I do: Do a titles search on ebay for
"microscope", then, at the top of the page, click on the "advanced
search" window--then, specify your search for "completed items".
You'll get a listing of hundreds of items and the price that they
actually sold for---there's a lot of junk and toys listed, but spend
some time reviewing the listing, and you'l get some idea of prices for
used scopes. Good Luck.
