I have to say I've been very fortunate using Ebay as Meiji scopes seem to
sell for relatively little in the UK. Got a very good condition EMT-1 for
less than 50 UK pounds and a mint condition ML2000 for 75 UK pounds. The
latter is perfect for my level of hobby microscopy but would be well out of
my range if purchased new as it sells for around 2000 UK pounds. I've since
added additional objectives at low cost to give a very flexible system. Ebay
takes persistence but the goods are out there.
