B& L Dynazoom question

I am new to this field, and have a question about my Dynazoom condenser
apparatus.
It does not appear to conform to the setup in the Dynazoom manual, or
at least I am not interpreting it correctly.
It has a 1.3 Abbe condenser mounted non-adjustably under the stage.
Under that is a lens, diaphragm, and slide-in holder assembly that is
on a rack and pinion arm, but also non-centerable. Below that is a lens
in the base that transmits light up from the illuminator.
What, exactly , is the condenser? Is it the upper lens, intermediate
lens, or a combination of the two? Other condenser options for this
scope seem to combine all this in one assembly.
Is it possible to buy, say, a darkfield condenser for this model that
would fit?
The manual shows the entire condenser on the rack and pinion. Mine is
not like that.
Also it has only the one diaphragm, which I assume is the iris
diaphragm, but is lacking a field diaphragm - although there is a well
over the base lens which I assume could take various attachments.
The manual I have is the same as available on the web.
Thanks, hakelly
.
