This is not a good option. The resolution is not good enough for a
microscope. It is much better to look for a USB camera that delivers
at least 640 X 480 pixels.

Ligitech makes a 1.3 megapixel webcam that can be purchased for around
$80. Maybe you could adapt this camera. You would not need a
capture board. The signal is all digital not analog.
