CA correction is different between Zeiss and Olympus, tubelens is
important for that. When using monochromatic light that shouldn't be a
problem. If you use Zeiss eyepieces, on a Zeiss stand it shouldn't
introduce spherical abberation, but I do not have direct experience
with exchanging infinity lenses.

Hi all;
I have a Zeiss Axiovert 25 (inverted microscope) and like to use
Olympus objectives, because there are some available that have a
correction for a 2mm glass. Both systems have the same thread size, are
infinite obectives, and have the same Parfocal lenght. There is one
difference in the tube lense focal length, but I'm not shure how that
affects the image. And the other thing is that I'm not sure if the
correction-systems are similar. For our application we don't need a
good chromatic correction because we only have monochromatic light, but
I don't want to have a spherical abberation.
So is there anyone who has experiences with the exchange of objectives?
Thank You!
Michael
