I have a Vickers 4-lens turret 1000x oil immersion microscope that has aPhil, Disconnect the power supply and remove the screws so you can get to
variable power illuminator and power source that's configured for European
use. I would like to convert the illuminator and power source to standard
US 110 volt. Does anyone know how or where this can be done?
We're an animal rescue group in NJ.
Any advice will be deeply appreciated.

the transformer. About 60% of the time there will be an internal method for
changing the voltage. Usually this is relatively simple.
As for bulbs, try one of these, www.bulbdirect.com or
www.atlantalightbulbs.com . You'll have to spend some time and go over all
the light bulbs but the odds are one of these will have your lamp.
