I prefer Kimwipes to lens tissue, only because it is more absorbent.
I've been using Edmunds cleaning fluid with the wipes, and have had no
problems with it.

BTW, Kevin (and anyone else): what do you think of using the microfiber
cloths, either wet or dry. I know it's important to keep the cloth
clean (grit-free); assuming that, are they acceptable, especially for
wiping the top lens of oculars? I've been using them for that purpose
on my stereo scopes with no apparent problems.

They certainly seem to be the big thing for plastic eyeglass lenses.
Probably a good sign.
