What are the parts underneath the objective that say 1.1x?
These are metallurgical (reflected) objectives with Nomarski/DIC
prisms. The nose piece is for BH/BH-2 stands. To use these, one
would need a UMA or earlier vertical illuminator with polarizer.

Re: mistake after mistake ... Sometime it work best with not recomended configuration... Some manufactures only have 1 upper prisma to al objectives ... Try and see - Only using Leitz POL Objectives with one Prisma slider ... I have 3 condenser prisms and 2 objective prisms. ... (sci.techniques.microscopy)
