Hi,
I have an Oxford windowless EDAX about 5-6 years old but the old Link
processor & software is on its last legs. Am I able to use other brands of
pulse processor & software? If not, does anyone have a Link unit that would
suit?

EDAX is a brand name. EDS is what you are talking about.
Your only probable option is IXRF. They make DPP and s/w for most all
detectors.
