Laboratory clearance in Essex, UK
We have two specialised coaters for sale. Both were in regular use
until recently for preparing specimens for optical and electron
microscopy.
1. Edwards E306 vacuum coater, used for evaporating submicron
aluminium films onto substrates up to 210 by 300 mm. Two stage
internal vacuum pump.
2. Biorad 5200 sputterer, used for depositing gold and carbon films
onto substrates up to 50 mm diameter, complete with freestanding
Edwards vacuum pump.
Both are offered in good clean working order with many spares,
consumables and full original manufacturer's manuals. Operation from
240V standard UK AC mains and piped water. The sputterer also needs an
argon purge for gold coating. However, we cannot deliver, so these are
offered strictly on the basis that the buyer(s) dismantle and collect.
